Default Engine removal trouble

I’m having trouble getting the engine out of my 95 WRX. I have done everything it says in this guide

http://www.rs25.com/forums/f105/t63237-diy-engine-removal.html

The engine is completely free of everything and raised about 2” off of the engine mounts all the Transmission bolts are out and there is about a half inch gap between the gearbox and the engine but it wont move any further away. No matter how hard I pull it away it wont budge. Any ideas why it wont come out.

yep, you need to remove the cover which is on the passenger side of the gearbox, I think it is a 10mm or 12mm allen key you need. then you screw a m6 bolt into the pin and slide it out.
