As a general rule...
Post 2000 cars running normal oil temps 100degC and below
5w-30 or 5w-40
Same as above running temps up to 120degC
10w-50 or 15w-50 (10w better for all year round)
Pre 2000 cars unless temps are exceeding 120degC
10w-50 or 15w-50 (10w better for all year round)
If you're not sure about use/temps/abuse etc....mail us on sales@opieoils.co.uk and we'll take a closer look at the facts...use/mods/temps etc.
10w-60 only for cars where temps are likely to cook the oil or fuel dilution is severe.
Cheers

A really good 5w-40 would probably be best or a 10w-50, you're kind of in the middle of the two

MILLERS CRX 75w-90 NT
Competition full synthetic transmission oil. A blend of full synthetic base oils incorporating new “Nano Technology” additive chemistry to significantly reduce internal frictional and power losses.Use as received for the lubrication of competition gearboxes, and axles, which require API GL4 or GL5 performance.
Suitable for use in synchromesh and sequential gearboxes. Ideal for combined synchromesh gearbox and limited slip differentials.
Recommended for modern transmissions where full synthetic oil is specified, especially for high performance road and track day applications.
USER BENEFITS:
•Exceptional cold flow properties for easier gear changes.
•Fast lubrication flow to component extremes on start up.
•Very good oxidation resistance and superior thermal stability.
•Low friction/low drag formulation to help reduce operating temperatures.
•High film strength for maximum component protection.
•Significantly reduces friction, temperature, wear and minimises power loss.
PERFORMANCE PROFILE:
•API GL4
•API GL5
•API MT-1
