Default Tuning engine with standard sti exhaust

strange one I know

is it possible to increase power but keep the standard sti backbox on my '00 type r? for a number of reasons I can't run a 'loud' performance exhaust, I've looked at the apexi exhaust valve controller and the oz varex system YouTube - Varex remote control muffler. but they seem more hassle than they're worth and I don't want to use a bung. I would run a decat no prob, its just loudness thats the issue. ideally I'd like 350bhp. your thoughts please!

go for the prodrive exhaust they aren't too loud. and they are designed to work with the ppp wich is a 305bhp conversion.

Standard exhaust BB would be fine IMHO. 350 depends on alot of other factors tbh.

To get a true 350 out of that car you need to change a few bits and pieces.
If you decat it you will increase the noise, use exhaust wrap to reduce in cabin noise.
You should see upto 330bhp on standard turbo and sti backbox shouldnt restrict it massively.

Upto around 330 as JGM said ^^^. Your 440s with an FPR and upped pressure will be okay, but your VF28 or 29 turbo and TMIC are the limiters...
