Default Remap question

Getting my car remapped soon with an simtek ecu
my car MY99 UK has FMIC Hybrid from Harvey, VF29, Uprated fuel pump, k+n 57i kit, full decat
Main Question is do i need a adjustable fuel regulator before remap, my car is running 440cc injectors as standard

why not call the mapper you have chose and ask him mate

not essential but if you use a decent one it will ensure fuelling is not the stopping point on it making more power

Much as Simon says, your VF29 may be capable of 350 bhp if you are lucky.
Your yellow 440 injectors will max out somewhere before then without an FPR but not far short. If you spend money on an FPR your injectors and turbo will probably max out around the same. However, if you have plans to go further it would be better to invest in 550cc injectors and not invest in an FPR. At that point your injectors can take you all the way toward 400 bhp without any expenditure on an FPR.
