Newage coolant throttle bypass mod..
Hey guys, just to check before I do something silly, the coolant bypass mod for the throttle body on newages, the pipes are near the top of the throttle and the other at the bottom right?
Thanks

Thanks Steve.
Rally_fan_555 - its to stop coolant running through your throttle body surround, basically the coolant gets to whatever extreme temperatures, so you're removing it from the throttle body, and in effect reducing inlet temperatures.. a touch! Probably better in theory than in practice, but every little helps!
Downside is, you could have a frozen throttle at some stage!

Was thinking about doing this until my last RR session when we checked how cold the pipes were, very cold was the answer. So I don't think the heat from the throttle body would be sufficient to affect the inlet charge temperature. Will see next time it is on a rolling road.
