I bought some exhaust parts from eBay which were reportedly from an 03 WRX STI with PPP. The backbox is definitely good but I'm not sure about the other parts.

The cat has the following markings on the main section:

ECOCAT OY 84159
KE050246

On a separate plate it has:

SE136 SU 15-05



The centre section has very few markings except:

SUBARU
(7) PMFE1

The (7) is a funny little symbol which looks quite like a number 7 in a circle.



Is this a proper PPP sports cat and centre section?

As an aside, I thought the STI PPP came also with a second decat or am I wrong about this?

The cat is definately a PPP Sports cat it's the same one I have fitted.

 

Sweet, thanks for your reply. Happy now as I got all three parts for £200. The centre section's a little rusty but the cat and backbox are mint. Now to find a Prodrive 2nd cat delete...

 

You did well there, I paid £260 just for the sports cat.
