Default Brembo wheel clearance

Hi all just wondered if there is a certain amount of distance required between
the brembo caliper and wheel, or is it just a case of if it clears by 1mm thats fine?

Many thanks

AP recommend 4mm minimum for their kits. I'd guess the radial clearance is more important than the one to the face of the spokes as you're more likely to get a stone jammed in the former.
