As it is a new engine, things will be settling down. Keep to the engine builders recommendations for driving and oil changes and things should be alright. If in doubt speak to the engine builder as I am sure they won't want their names spread all over Scoobynet for being useless.

My bugeye has gone from 265 bhp to 360 bhp then upto 400 bhp and at 97k went upto 416bhp. Still as smooth as original, when it goes wrong then forged rebuild. I think there is a lot of bull put about, also bad mouthing when an individual's engine goes. I don't do the supposed "****" oil changes of disconnecting the crank sensor. I used mine for short journeys 1.2 miles to work and 1.2 miles back and when needed blasted from cold. If you consider FORDS (Fix Or Repair Daily) when you look at the percentages it was/is a very small number of the cars sold. As this is a SUBARU only forum it amplifies the numbers as a lot of Subaru owners are not enthusiasts and are not on the forum's. So that figure is not realised.
