Has anyone tried fitting a sheet of carbon or similar as a door card in a classic? Just wondered if it fitted well, or if there are too many undulations in the door?

So not a pretty flat fit then ![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Just lost on a set of door cards on ebay, as guy reckons it will cost £100 to post them to Jersey! I have had exhausts and turbos posted for less- even a full set of coilovers was less than £40 by courier.

Hi mate
Made some using sheet aluminium, looks ok,fairly cheap and can get away with it but there again my interior is fully stripped out.
Used some door trim to finish edges
The surface is far from flat unfortunatley![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Other option is to save up for carbon door cards but afre fairly expensive

That does look difficult actually!! Same rollcage as mine- annoying how it hits the rear door handles. The carbon ones get round this, but 700 is too much- shame no fibreglass ones about.
