hi just got the scoob back on the road after 2 years of sitting on the drive, it passed its mot got road tax and ins so itook it for a run and this thing went like stink, much faster than before but after about 6 miles the engine light come on and when you boost the car gets to around 10psi and then all the power goes and it sounds feels and sounds like the ecu is limiting the rpm. is this a maf going down ? i saw that the boost was going to about 16psi

 

has the fuel your using in it been sitting in it 2 years?

 

only a small amount i pu £40 of tesco 99% in it.

 

If the engine light came on, you'll have a stored code... plug the two green plugs together under the steering wheel and it will give you a code.. that code will tell you whats up with the car
