ive got a classic uk thats currently mapped at 1.1 bar and running 270 at that boost, ive turned the boost up slightly but id like abit more. its already got a front mount so im thinking of a td05, a 255 fuel pump and then a remap. would this be the right way to go for getting closer to the 300 mark. any help and or pointers would be gratefully received.

 

Yes I think so, but you will also need to change IMO the injectors and your exhaust too if you haven't already.

 

You might get pretty close with a full decat and a remap, I know I did.

 

ive got a decat from the turbo back, changed the up pipe aswel a couple of months ago.

 

I would say your already running a TD05 if your getting 270bhp at 1.1 bar, 1.1/2 bar on a td04 is 250bhp.
What year and model is your car?

its a 98 s reg turbo 2000 mate, its defo a td04 as ive had it off when the up pipe was fitted. the graph ive got with the car shows 267 bhp and 290 ish lb/ft. thats just under 1.2 so im rounding it off at 1.1 bar. i dont know if the engine is a standard uk as there is 2 receipts for engines at various times.
