Intercooler spray, how to stop
Hi guys, i have just bought a week ago my first Suburu, of an old (not too old) sn member on here, i also have his username, until i sort membership out into my name, is there a way of stoppng the intercooler spray coming on all time, has a front mount, 2007 sti, and the pipes on the top of block have just a peg on it to stop spraying?

No, at least i dont think so, has a FORGE fmic, and the spray pipe is plugged, and cliped, ill put back up on ramp in a mo when got me *** break,

So why hasn't anyone posted the obvious answer: Drain the water out of the tank.
The best way to do it ScatRat is just to unplug it. If your car has the tank mounted in the side of the boot you can get to it fairly easily by taking off the trim. One connector for the pump and another for the low level warning switch and you're done.
Although it it was mine I'd at least drain the tank to stop the water causing a bad smell in the boot in a few months time. Given that it's only a few bolts, even better would be to take the tank out completely.
Incidentally, do you know that the car's been mapped properly for the front mount?

Its been mapped properly yes,
i only discovered it when i was wiring up my amps, i noticed a fuse was missing in fuse box, so put a fuse in, now the ic spray works, it is a uk spec, yes, and the spray is auto,
ive took the bottle out now completely and unplugged etc,.
sweet now,,,

Can't be UK and auto spray unless someone has been clever.
Are there two buttons (Auto and spray) to press on lower dash panel to right of driver - will be with foglight button.
