oil change
hello i have a subaru impreza 2.0 turbo im going to do oil and filter change on it tomorrow but before i drained oil i was going to put some engine flush in it and run it for ten mins is this a wise idea on an engine like this

thank you for the quick comeback on this question you see the thing is i have just got the car and im not sure on the history of oil or changes in the past just wondered what to do as some people say dont use engine flush on a scooby engine please get back to me thank you

Don't use engine flush, it's not a good idea for a couple of different reasons.
In your position, you can probably do one of two things. Either not worry about it and carry on a good oil change regime from this point forward, or, change the oil and filter, run it for a couple of days, making sure you give the engine some hard work and allow it to get nicely hot, and then change the oil and filter again. This will get rid of everything that can easily be removed, and without the potentially negative effects of "flush".
Also, if you haven't done so already, it'd be well worth you having a peruse of the Oil Change Questions thread which will be back up near the top of the forum very shortly, if it isn't already.
