Default Raspy exhaust

I have a full decat on my 1997 uk turbo, did have a TSL firestorm backbox, but yesterday put on an afterburner vortex backbox, it made the tone deeper, but also slight raspy, any ideas as to why? Will it change the longer I run it on the car?

Thanks

PS, the downpipe, and middle section are different makes, however I do have the afterburner downpipe and middle section

is it worth putting on the rest of the afterburner system so it matches?

I replaced the TSL firestorm, because it wasn't a deep enough tone for me, however, I'm now on backbox number 5 it's the tone I want, but raspy and I really don't know why.

I think I'm going to swap it back, after being on the car for a couple of days
