Default 1993 WRX Import Fuel Pump

Hi guys,

I have had my Scooby for 5 years now without any problems whatsoever!
I went out to it yesterday morning and the fuel pump wasn't working. I put a DVM on the 4 wires that run under the drivers side rear seat, saw 12V on one of them as I turn the ignition key which leads me to believe the relay is working. Does this sound viable?
Is there any other way to test the pump itself before I strip it out?

My next question is does anyone know how easy it is to change the fuel pump? My mate reckons it's in the fuel tank, in which case the whole tank will have to come off to get to it. Is this right??

Many thanks for any advice/help you guys can offer!

Andy
