Default impreza 1995 power steering pump

hello i have a subaru impreza wrx 1995 i have taken out power steering pump and the wire on it has broken what does this wire do is it nessessary do i need to re connect it or just leave it off please help me with this asap please thank you

If there is a wire connected to it then I would say youd better put it back bud!!??!!

Dont worry calm down! The car will run fine without it. all its for is idle when on full lock usually when on full lock the car will rev slightly(wire connected). but now it wont the change is tiny and wont affect anything
