Default tyre wear outside edge!!

Is there a cure for this on my classic?
Have looked at all the forums and only thing i can find is whiteline ALK and four wheel alignment.
Anyone had these done and does it make any difference??
thanks

Could imply you're running not enough negative camber - or even positive! Maybe too low tyre pressures?

Unless you always give it the beans round corners, everywhere you go - showing the tyres no mercy? Is it more predominant on the left (heavily loaded in roundabouts) side?

I had this on my 2006 sti spec d, both front tyres would wear on the outsides. I had a 4 wheel alignment done and the chap doing it said they where both running positive camber after fast road settings all has been good in fact after about 16 weeks I haven't noticed any wear at all

I've got the ALK and had four wheel alignment but I still get it. But i'm running 18's with 35 rubber which is a harsh ride and I think all the potholes have thrown my alignment back out! How often do you guys get your alignment done?

find someone with tracking and allignment tools all in one . the camber bolts are to far out and the trcacking is toeing in . therefore taking the outer edge off your tryes . got mine done for 40quid in north devon best 40quid i ever spent tyres have worn perfectly ever since

A high tyre pressure should wear the center of the tyre, so you either have too much toe in or not enough camber (or a bit of both)

I would get a 4 wheel alignment done by someone that knows how to set up a scooby correctly.

Yes, get the ALK and also a set of camber bolts to fit to the rear struts. That way you'll be able to run -ve 1.5deg camber at the rear, as well as the front.

Also, and most importantly, a rear and/or front WL ARB would be a worthwhile move, before going ahead with the laser alignment. It's these, more than anything, which transforms the handling...
