I have a 2001 JDM STI that runs a Ganador Titanium system, problem is its a bit loud for some tracks.

So i have emailed a few places for a quote for a bung/silencer for the end of it. Depending on the price i might go with that, but if they are big money i might as well buy a new system and swap it over for track days.

my question is what systems are people using that 100% pass track day noise tests (circa 96db)???

Blitz do a nice system called the nur-spec rx which i beleive is a 94db system to cover almost all tracks. Great sound and looks just like the nurspec R. It sounds great on the track as well.

I have a 3" Miltek system (d/c) which runs at 89db at 1m / 45 degrees on a Hawk WRX

Very nice sounding too.

 

APS 3" system, much louder than his ^ @ mid 90's.

Had my milltek system with centre cat pipe tested at 4500rpm on Friday - 96dB

 

good stuff chaps, gives me a few options to look at!

 

Or the 3 inch revolution system which I have just put on mine after the nur spec. 92db.
