Default Warped Discs or Wheel Spacers?

I've put some new wheels on my car, and needed to use spacers. They are 5mm ones, and cheapo one so in my opinion don't sit 100% centred!

But, I can drive at easily 100mph+ and don't get any wheel wobble or anything...all seems well. But, when I brake at higher speeds (above 40mph) I get a real bad wobble on the steering wheel.

Could this be anything to do with the spacers? Or is it just pure coincidence that the discs have seemed to have warped since I put the new wheels with spacers on??

If it is the Discs, can I just changed the discs, as my pads are As New, so would be a real shame to change the pads too. As I know in theory when you change your discs you should change pads....but do you Need to??

Thanks a lot

Wouldnt be the wheels/spacers, as you would get wobble at speeds... sounds like the brakes to me...

You can now get brake disks skimmed instead of replacing them.. was watching this:

I've got PF Z-Rated pads on......and discs are cheapo ones I think.

Is it worth Skimming them though do you think? As they have warped one, so probably will again!?

If they are only cheap-o disks maybe not worth it then.

What about using new discs, with used pads? Although the pads have lots of meat left on them....so I'd ideally like to keep using them.

used pads on new discs will be fine though will take a bit longer to bed in as they have worn to the shape of the old discs.
