My car will be used for the odd weekend blast but maily for track work.
What percentage of methanol is it safe to run?
Or if there is an ideal percentage what is it? If required i can uprate components
as i re-build the car.
I have heard methanol knackers standard rubber seals true or false?
Any other factors i need to allow for other than the car being mapped for it obviously?

So from reading andys comments it is safe to run a pretty high percentage.
Think about 40% will be best for me as I don't fancy carrying a spare 60 litres about in my boot.

Nothing to do and three weeks to do it, you know the score in our line of work lol ![Lol1](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/lol1.gif)
Hopefully getting the car back over the weekend or the beginning of next week and have a very long list of things to do to it on top of running it in, so my spare time for now is about to come to an abrupt end!

2 weeks offshore spent surfing forums sourcing information and parts and doing the odd bit of work.
Then my time at home involves surfing forums, playing with the car, going to the pub and falling out with the bird.
Glad to hear your finally getting your car back it's been a long time coming. Mine ill hopefully be finished by 2011.

It depends what size of injectors your also using. ive got a classic with standard 440 injectors and my mapper told me not to run anymore than 10%. I also have one with 740 injector and a bigger turbo which he mapped for 30%. you need to get more fuel through when using meth hence needing the bigger injectors. Remember it goes off quite quick so dont fill it into your car and leave it for ages or you might start getting problems...
