Better oil feed design, better balancing and lighter but in reality for the amount they cost I dont think it is worth it.

nitrided newage cracks are a good compromise Jon, you can get them cross drilled and balanced as well if required

mine's had quite a lot of work around the oil ways by SMG

iirc the newage jdm cranks are cross drilled and tuftrided, so as trails say a good choice. Manley also do a forged crank that is half the price of a billet crank and could be a good choice?

Depends on how much power you are looking to make and how high your rev'ing, so to aid reliability in strength so I am led to believe. This is on the shopping list for my next potential build, as I would be looking at a ****load more bhp and higher rev limit.

My current JDM Newage crank is fine at 600+bhp and 8200rpm rev limit though, so gives you an indication of what stock stuff can do.

Andy F was revving his standard 79mm crank to 8.5k rpm regularly on his old car.
