Angry Help needed with sigma alarm m30

I took my 99 plate impreza turbo 2000 into the garage to have some body work done. And for some reason the guy put my subaru fob in to the microwave (as the batt had gone flat) any way now theres nothin car will not start.... its been going on a while now and not known which way to go about it.... i was wondering if i was to buy a fob and box already programmed to each other would this solve my problem ? ive been down to the subaru dealer and got the code for the keypad....ive tried this still nothing ... ive been up to the body shop where my car is and soon as you connect the live terminal to the battery the siren starts to go off yet all my lights are on on the dsh board ??? when normally the lights/indicators/heaters wouldnt work until button was pressed... its doing my head in trying to sort it .... i was thinking of taking car to subaru and getting them to issue me with a new fob and re program it for me... is this my easiest option ? thanks people ... Danny
