i need to buy a new battery for my car, my94 sti wagon, need it quickly, and was considering an oddessey battery, but after talking to a supplier, he said they were not sufficient for my car, could someone reccommend me a good quality battery that i will be able to get hold of quickly as car is having simtek fitted on friday. not to fussed on price, but must be a good quality one.

Halfords Calcium battery has a four year warrenty

 

and they are only £80 , i got the one down from it the normal one for £70.

 

Bosch series 5 from Costco £58 all in.Same battery in Halfords is £119.99.

 

thanks guys, i dont want to appear ungreatful, but i try and steer clear of halfrauds where i can, but if they are decent batteries then i may well be tempted by one.

im sure ive seen loads of people using oddessey batteries on their scoobs with no probs, can anyone enlighten me on this??? can i get away with using one of these, as like the idea of lightweight and smaller mount anywhere versatility

 

any views or experiences with the oddessey batteries????/?
