Default MAF-less air intake hose

Hi guys. Once my Impreza's back on the road, I'm going to look into getting it Simtek'd. No need for the MAF so was looking around for a silicone intake pipe to go from the airbox to the turbo inlet pipe thingy that sneaks under the inlet manifold. I spotted this link (top item) and asked Viper if this would work but they don't know.

Has anyone on here removed their MAF and retained the airbox?

Spec (just in case needed):
Impreza Turbo Terzo PPP
TSL Decat downpipe and centre section, Prodrive back box
RamAir panel filter

That's a replacement for the existing OEM black plasticky flexi one, so when the MAF's deleted, it then won't reach the airbox.

You'd prob need a ally joiner and another section of silicone hose of appropriate length/dia./angle to be able to extend that silicone replacement pipe (or indeed the existing OEM one) to the airbox's outlet.
