Default no oil in engine ....

sorry,i meant to say what engine oil is best for my impreza wrx new to owenership so advice needed! thanks in advance

Don't even start it. At the moment any petrol engine oil is better than none. You would be better to put some lower price oil in let the engine IDLE to warm up a bit. Once warm drain , change filter and replenish the oil with a decent one. ALSO check the oil more often.

Good branded oil in 10-40 10-50 are the most people use just done mine with 10-40

Make sure its a esther based oil and bewteen 5w-40 and 10w-50 depending on spec and usage.

Bit of a can of worms subject, however I use 5w40 full synthetic
