Hi Gang,

Is there a differance between the OEM Re-Circ DV off a hawkeye WRX against the Hawkeye STI model ?

Odd question I know but need to know for a mate who has one cleaned up ready to go on, but need to check first if they are the same item ?

I cant see a separate listed on ebay for a wrx and sti so looks the same fit imo

 

Thanks for that, it matches what I have found out so far as well.

 

SSS, the STi and WRX dumpvalves have different numbers in the parts database so it would be reasonable to believe that there may be differences beneath the skin. I've been told in the past that they have slightly different spring (i.e. opening) pressures but don't have any evidence to support that contention.

 

Thanks for that Splitpin, that is the only thing that had crossed my mind and I had said that to my mate here... I've suggested to check with his mapper to as he will probably be able to say straight away.
