Default V3 v4 coil pack and leads

Hi I am trying to find the best solution for a problem i have.

My 98' impreza sti ( which ha a v4 engine in it) was replaced with a v5/6 engine , it had a modified manifold put on to it to make the v4 ecu work with the manifold. Anyways the car runs good BUT under hard boost it hesitates but when i accelerate slowly it comes on boost and does not hesitate as severeley ( but it still does). I have come to the conclusion that the HT leads will need replacing as everything else is perfect and the car runs great , no engine management lights .

I am using the v3 v4 coil pack but i have mounted it on the right side of the manifold ( where the v5 coil pack would usually sit) I have doctored the ht leads on the left side as the v3/4 leads are shorter on this side ( as the coil pack sits in the middle) so i have got the v5 leas and ripped the end off and put the v3 end on so it fits the coil pack , so this is what is causing it to hesitate .

my question is i want to replace the leas now but i dont want to doctor them , i could relocate the coil pack but there is not anywhere i can!

i cant buy the v3 leads as there too short and the v5 wont fit the coil pack .

does any1 have any ideas what i could do as i need to quickly remedy this as i am due to have a simtek ecu installed.

any ideas welcome

cheers
