Relieve fuel pressure
remove injector cover and plug
remove injector (twist while pulling)

easy as that.

If you need to ask how though, should you really be doing the job yourself. You are working on high pressure fuel lines, andthe 440's can leak if fitted incorrectly/damages seals.

Also re map is required once fitted, can the mapper not fit them for you?.

fuel filter line, wait till the morning and do it 'cold'. dont run the car and the pressure should have dropped, and no hot engine parts around you.

As said above you will need a remap as soon as they are on.

I took the old wrx injectors out of my 94 classic and it took a couple of hours to do. As already said release the fuel preasure 1st off. you will need to remove your airbox, maf, and pipe work and also your washer bottle. Before you fit your 440's it will be worth getting them flow tested to make sure they do what they say on the box. You will need new O rings and seals and a can of silicon spray. A pair of long grippers to remove the old injectors as they can be a real git to get out.

1st remove the plug on the top of the injector

2nd undo the 2 bolts holding the injectors

3rd with a firm twist and a pull and a few wiggles the old one will come out. Check you have the rubber O ring and seal out. Give the bore a clean with a paper towl to make sure it is clean.

4th with the new injector make sure the Seal and O ring is in place before fitting and give the whole thing a good spray with silicon which will help with the refitting. Once fitted in firmly replace the holding bracket and replace the plug. Copy on other 3 and put all parts back.

5th pray that there are no leaks when the fuel pump purges and the car starts up. better to have someone with you to check as you start the car.

6th pat yourself on the back and get to the mapping center for your already booked re map.

Hope this helps.

Message me if need anymore help.

Iain
