The vf28 is nothing like a vf34 matey, going from a 34 to a 28 deffo requires a remap and you will notice a world of difference between the two tubbys.the 28 will have shot its pot full before the 34 even begins to come on song, hence the huge price difference.the 34 is one of if not the most sort after of all the vf range, fantastic turbo and performs awesome on any model imprezza..GOOD LUCK.

cheers for the info guys but why do people go for the*vf34 ?? turbo dynamics said that they are the same turbo !! same size houseing and both roller bearing turbo,s !! i mean my vf34 only came off my rb5 as the bearings are wineing !! was making good boost when mapping with bob !!

some people say the difference is night and day between the 2 turbo,s but not much power difference between them !!!
