Default airbag code probs failed reset????

Had a look at a bugeye wrx today that has its air bag light on the car has had sti seats fitted & the seats have seat belt pretensioners fitted, i read the codes and got 41 & 42 which im sure is side airbag harness's 42 =left 41 =right tried to reset the codes but 41 & 42 kept coming back, had a look at the seats and found the connectors under the seats did not fit correctly these were taken out of the connector blocks and connected but after reset still getting 41 &42 im thinking now the car did not have seat belt pretensioners on the original seats but side airbags as the codes for the pretensioners should be 61 & 62,could the harness's have 3 ohm resistors fitted to bypass the harness's so codes could be cleared also where can the resisors be purchased?? any help, advise or others that have sorted this thanks in advance!!
