Default How do i fit a dump valve on a sti

I have a R reg sti i just wanted to know how to fit a dump valve on it i have a standard intecooler

On the intercooler you should have a hose on the right hand side. Follow that and that where you have to block it, Then put your new dump valve in place of old one, and use vacuum pipe on new dump valve.

As said above ,as you look at your intercooler,you will see an elbow on the right hand side joining to a pipe,follow the pipe and you should find your original dumpvalve with 2 hoses connected to it,and a smaller vacume hose.The hose going to your intercooler connects to your aftermarket dumpvalve,and the vacume hose also.The remaining hose that leads back to your inlet tract is simply blocked off with the aluminium bung that most dump come supplied with.
On your model the o/e recirc valves can develop leaks,thankfully forge do a std recirc valve in aluminium if you dont want the noise.

All subaru turbo`s have one as standard. But its not a VTA one, so doesn`t make a stupid noise.
