Hello, driving along and car does a massive jult, and then lost power. Turned off, and then restarted, and went into limp home mode.
I then checked the ECU and came up with 23 mass air flow.
Is this a normal sign of it just going?

Try running an ECU reset sequence now (black plugs and green plugs both connected, start engine and drive) and see if it will successfully reset. If it continues giving you error 23 then either your sensor or the wiring loom between it and the ECU is seriously faulty.
