Default Rev warning system newage

does anyone know how to reset the audible rev warning system. It happened a few months ago after having a flat battery i could set the limit as usual but when the set rev limit was reached the l.e.d light up but no sound? i took it to subaru and they reset it. Now after disconnecting the battery yesterday i have the same problem, lights up but no bleep?

cheers, dave

ign on but not running, twist the **** to the right to set the Revs then let go at the setting u want, then repeat if u want the beep on, just leave the **** if you want it silent,
then ign off and you are sorted.
