Hi,
my friend has a impreza sti my02 with a 2.5 engine (some mods made on it) and wants to get a bigger turbo than the serial one. He gets some good price for the garrett turbos so the question is what would be the best turbo for the 2.5 engine to get some 400bhp??? He has got forged internals, other injector and so on. The question is only the turbo.

Laterl Performance MD321T would be my choice

Got one going on mine in 4 weeks or so

 

if he is getting good prices on garretts a GT28 or GT30 will get him to 400.

 

The lateral performance would be my choise to but thats not genuie garrett, and yes he has good prices on it, the half of the normal price approx.
Whats with the gt32 or gt35? Are those to big?

What kind of power that turbo making and how much you ask for it? Does it use standard or 3" inlet pipe? Single or twin scroll?

Itīs a singlescroll turbo capable of 450bhp and it has a 3"inlet.
I also have got the inletpipe for a classic WRX/STI MY99/00, if thatīs of use for you.
The turbo has got only about 3000miles done and is in perfect condition, so asking GBP 1000 shipped (new it costs GBP 1600 + fittings GBP 200)

I have to consider what I'm going to do. At this point I have pretty new turbo at my car and I go tested it at the drag strip next weekend. I have already using 3" inlet. If I think I need new one I may contact you directly if you haven't got it sold then. At this point I was more curious about the specs. So if you have a solid buyer I prefer to sell it there.

I forgot to ask, but is this for 2l or 2.5l motor?

 

I had it on my EJ22 with STI V6 heads, will work on a 2l as well, but might not reach peakboost before 4500rpm!
