Hi Guys,
Just had a friendly mot tester run an emissions check on my '97 uk turbo 2000 full de cat (Ninja), re mapped, running 1.3 bar of boost.
HC and Lambda results were both within limits, but the CO level was 0.695 which is way above the test maximum of 0.300.
With the best will in the world putting the original exhaust system back on won't get it low enough for a pass.
The car was extremely warmed up, using tesco 99, injector cleaner in last tank full. Guys any ideas. I need an MOT in 4 weeks time.

You won't pass emissions with no cats, simple ! Put the downpipe back on for the MOT and it will pass.
