Default Problem with central locking in hot weather

I have developed a problem in the last few weeks with the weather turning hotter. every time we have a hot day and i go to get in my impreza after pressing the remote key the car locks itself again and it does the same when i use the key. But when the weather cools the fault disappears and it works as normal.
Its a sigma alarm on a 99 turbo 2000.
Has anyone else had this problem ?

Oh don't know if it's worth trying, do you have the 4 digit alarm code for the keypad in the glove box ?
