blitz exhaust lenght
hi i need the measurments of the jdm centre blitz pipe length end to end, ive bought a uk one and been told the cats are different lenghts so are the blitz centre sections different as it is falling short on my decat downpipe (it may be the downpipe is not compatable)or the exhaust is wrong length on a bug eye steve
length of mine is 125cm end to end and been removed from a 03 blobeye!!!!!!

JDM bugeye uses same length exhaust components as a classic as do some early UK models
From what you have written here you will need either....
A double decat long length downpipe from a Blobeye, or
The small downpipe decat and cat delete pipe from a newage.

newage down pipe is short compared to the classic and some bugeyes, to keep it simple.
Some Bugeyes will have a 3 piece exhaust, downpipe, centre pipe and back box. JDM and Early UK
Some will have a 4 piece, Downpipe, 2nd cat, centre pipe, and backbox. 02 onwards
How many parts make up your exhaust, UK car or JDM?

Ive just looked at the pics of your car and its JDM. You have bought the wrong exhaust for your car.
A simple fix is to remove your current downpipe and fit one like in the link below, or a similar item from Hayward and Scott.
Buying a 2nd cat delete piece will not work as that will make the system too long.

hi cheers for the help, i know the blitz system is for a uk just been confirmed and measured up against my mates blob eye uk spec and there shorter than the jdm ones and that my car is a jdm,
if i was to fit the blitz system on with the standard cat/downpipe and a 3rd cat delete pipe im i right in saying it should fit and get rid of the suspect classic decat down pipe steve
so it will be a 4 piece system downpipe,3rd cat centre pipe and rear im not sure what was on it originally as was decat when bought but i have my suspitions its a classic 3 piece exhaust system on it as 1=lambda sensor behind turbo? 2=it sticks out from the rear bumper a fair bit 3=one of the rear exhaust hangers keeps falling of the rubber like it not 100% in the right orionation...steve

There is nothing suspect about the Decat you have on, its the correct length for your car. JDM Bugeye exhaust is the same as a classic bar the single hangar on the backbox which is sided different. It should only only have the 1 sensor after the turbo aswell as the other 1 is in the collector in the headers.
Yes you can either use the same length downpipe and cat pipe as what is on your mates blobeye or the decat type i posted above. They are both the same length, just the 1 above is 1 piece rather than 2!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT this is the delete pipe ive just bought on ebay and will couple this with a standard downpipe hopfully all is good fingers crossed.
what i meant with the downpipe lambda is all the bug and blob eyes ive seen have the sensor down in the 3rd cat section as above not in down pipe but mines at the top in the down pipe like a classic, the loom has been looped up and tied out of the way.steve
