ave got a 1996 subaru wrx,,how would you know if 02 senser is working,rember am a woman,

you need a multimeter and put the black on the ground and the other end on one of the lambda wires i think its either grey or black but dont quote me, you should see the voltage fluctuating around alot between 0.100 and 0.900 every car is differant but if the lambda is not moving around its not forced to be faulty, blip the throttle and see if it changes it should change if not then faulty sensor if it changes but then stays still then it could be the airflow at fault if you need any help pm me
