Default Fuel Pump symptoms

Hello

Got a few issues with my 93 Import WRX and think it may be the fuel pump. What I'd like to know is what symptoms I could expect to get when the fuel pump is on the way out so I know if my diagnosis is at all close
Thought it'd be easier to do it this way than list my probably lacking interpretation of the problem.

Thanks very much, Jonny

I replaced my fuel pump few months ago on my wrx 93. I used to have issues with cold starts, originally thought it was an Idle Control Valve issue but one day after a stuttery start after few minutes car was struggling to idle then cut out completely. Best bet is to replace the fuel pump with a walbro or something similar, its fairly easy to change over.

It depends how it's failing? As above could get starting issues, iv seen a lack of power at the top of the rev range too.
