radio wont tune v7 sti jdm

hi my radio wont tune on my v7 sti jdm i have a ripspeed dvd player in aerial is plugged in do i need some extra gadget for it to work or is it the amplifier near the back window thanks

Is it a fresh import?
Most jap radio's wont be tuned in and need converting.

u need to run the remote wire off the head unit to the white wire in the cars radio loom this is the amplifier for the aerial
