polar performance/scott???
Hi All
Hoping to be able to get behind the wheel of another subaru on friday, dependant on test drive going well, it should be in my drive friday night!
Question is, years ago i had a 1993 wrx & the best thing i ever did was to put a scoobyecu in from scott taylor. Years have gone by & after some reading found that he became Polar Performance? & still doing the chips.
Now then, can i still get one from anywhere or am i too late & have to hope one comes for sale second hand?
My (hopefully to own) subaru will be a 1995 wrx FIA model - just 260bhp wrx with a badge afaik
but im just so happy to be purchasing another scoob
Thanks

Scott's Polar Performance concern has been wound up by himself. Your only hope is a pre-chipped 4-plug ECU. Check on here and eBay.
You won't notice so much of an increase in performance going from a 260PS car, compared to your previous 1993 240PS car.
BTW, his chips weren't called "ScoobyECU" - they were another vendor's version of a similar chip.

I'm not looking to go mental with the power, i just really liked the chip scott installed for me all them years ago (hence the name mistake scoobyecu/scoobychip as it was so long ago)

I bought a complete ecu with solar chip installed , tottally transformed the way my mates 95 wrx drove. I believe there is one available on pistonheads at the moment £130.00 for chip & ecu
