hi all i have a 94 type ra!!
basically ive just bought a front mount for it but 1 of my mates has said i need to get it remapped??? now before i got the car it looks like its already had 1 fitted!!!
i have a turbo back exhaust + air filter.
what would any 1 recommend as i dont really wanna blow my engine by putting this on!!! please any ideas or info would be appreciated

Yes it needs a tweek map to suit the front mount intercooler, drive off boost until you arrive to the place to get it mapped.

 

yeah youl need a remap mate, cant just bolt a huge cooler on, it will lean the air fuel mix out with it been a cooler, denser charge

 

would i need bigger injectors??????
also any 1 no any good places to get it remapped??? i live in harrogate north yourkshire

No no larger injectors. You could try contacting Harvey Smith, who has Bob Rawle come to him regular. He MAY have a space, next mapping weekend is 17/18 July.

 

presuming you have a map-able ecu theres loads of choice for mapping in the north
