Default Exhaust Bugeye fit a hawkeye?

Can anyone tell me if a bugeye exhaust will fit directly onto a hawkeye?

If not what can be done to modify it to fit?

Cheers
Steven

If we are talking back box only, I believe it will as its the same shape as the STi one only with twin pipes instead of single 3" exit. The only barrier to fitment between newages (backbox only) is the rear diffuser which prevents the fitment of some jap exit back boxes.

As said above it will fit providing it is not an angled exit backbox going onto a 2007 Hawkeye STi(rear diffuser fouls),or a GB270 model(rear lip fouls),if it is a straight exit backbox will go straight on all models.

Thanks for the help, but what about if it's not just the back box? It's the complete system?

Then no it wont fit.
Downpipe is different as the JDM is twin scroll, the bug you have has 3 parts to its exhaust I believe, the hawk eye has 4, so you end up short (actually this goes for the MY05 blob too).
You will need to buy a new exhaust system to fit.

Thanks Tony.
The reason im asking is to get the Hawkeye through an SVA.
Do you think the rear box will be enough to get it through this?

Will fit.

The previous OP's full system would have fit too btw - it is just an issue when fitting half systems to hawkeyes as the downpipe is a different length. Swapping the whole lot out is not an issue.

Cheers Duncan,

My main concern was the turbo fitment, I currently have a VF35, and not knowing what this was bolted to before that made me wonder if it might be different? I also thought the hangers might be in a different place?

Thanks,
Rob

Cheers Jura,

Im more concerned of the downpipe fitment to the turbo then anything else. Will the flange fitting be the same to my VF35, soon to be MD321 or 20G?

Hi Rob standard fitment is same like on MD321 or 20g(on these turbos you can fit any normal exhaust which you have now on VF35),in this i'm pretty sure, different is just on Twin Scroll setup,Garret twisted/rotated setup.
