Default lack of torque on bureye jdm ?

hi been for a rolling road run and the car made 261 bhp with decat up pipe and decat third cat standard downpipe blitz centre and rear with a panel filter but the torque figure is only 234ft lbs the car does not pin you in your seat and i feel is a bit tame,

my mates blobeye same but uk standard apart from filter and a blitz centre and rear is 225bhp but the torque is so much more is it just the car or could it need the boost solonoid cleaning,i changed the maf as old one shot bought a good used one much better, the car goes well considering but no kick on the spool up!!!

does the jdm wrx (if this is what it is) have avcs? if so could this be the problem as on newage sti's when the neutral position switch plays up and doesent allow the avcs to cut in? just a thought.

Normal for unmapped car.
Also mods fitted without remap wont help.

WRX's did not have AVCS......STi jobbies only.

Bugeye JDM runs a claimed 250PS so 260BHP is well within normal limits, torque at 234 is about right for the car as well asuming it's not been remapped.

Hmmm........I'll have to check, the JDM Bugeye was launched a couple of months after the WRX and I thought the introduction of the new semi-closed deck and AVCS (plus the other bugeye STi stuff) happened then.
