Code 33 help?
Hey guys,
The cable has popped out on the nose thats on the gear box.
For sum unknown reason the speed converter for KM-MPH plugs in to this nose then the standard subaru one plugs into the converter.
On popping out it has touched the turbo and melted.
Pinched the cable and convertor of dads car fitted it all and now does not work still ie no speed showing. and check light is on with code 33 ( speed sensor )
I have pushed the cables in to the back of the clocks and the G/box as far as they can go.
can any one help???
thanks in advance

If the cable that fits into the gear-box is long enough to run all the way into the cabin, try routing it over to the passenger side temporarily, then go for a short drive and get someone to look at the free end of the cable and see if it's actually spinning round. That way you'll at least know if the problem's with the converter or the gear-box cable.
