Keep the z4 mate... I take it its the one on ebay you've seen? the seller of that ecu is so vague about the spec and cant even open it to take a pic of the board apparently. Its been for sale for a long time and there's no information available anywhere for it.

My Japanese isn't too hot, but it looks like their classic Impreza ECUs sell for around £570 new.
It might be a great ECU, but more than likely mapped for 100-RON fuel, which won't be much use in this part of the world.
