cobb tuning for WRX Hatch

cobb tuning for WRX Hatch
Been reading some good things on the US sites about the Cobb tuning flash device, the beauty is you can re flash you ECU back to standard when going back to the dealers :-)
The website states US only cars, i dont want to risk spending £400 on something that does not work but is there any reason why this wont work?
My previous car had a dreamscience handheld flash device that plugs into the OBC port and you had different maps and clear faults very good bit of kit but seen nothing like it for the impreza...

I have before on my ST220 Dreamscience(very good product),but for UK and JDM doesnt work Cobb,but something its similar to Cobb its EasyEcu from EcuTek and again its but you must buy ROM
