plugs/coil issue
take the plugs out, the old fuel could have gunged up the contacts
or the coils contacts even as been stood

Been thinking about it and we could not smell eny fuel when we were trying to start it and I do not recall hearing the pump or the sound ( buzz under bonnet when key turned to first position )

Will try to see if the fuel pump is working ,any idea where the fuse is for this ??
Cheers for the advise

hi mate very rare the fuel pump relay switch goes its prob the pump (or immobliser!!)take rear seats out and locate the pump (i have a 99 uk spec and thats where it is on mine anyway!!) see if u can hear pump buzzing when ignition is turned ..if not pump could be gone or immobliser stuck on..to check run a wire from a live source (i used my subwoofer in boot as a live source)and put it to the red/black wire on pump then try to start it if it starts the immobliser is on and you need to take it off...p.s mine is a 99 uk spec so im not sure if its the same with the 94 you have so double check first!!!!
