Increase BHP
Hi people, ive just brought a 2003 wrx with an sti engine in and was wondering how i can increase its bhp? new to scoobies?
The Spec Mine Has Is As Follows:
New rear wheel bearing hubs all completed this week.
WR1 full body kit, side skirts, spoiler with modified front bumper
Respray in WR1 blue
STI Engine with current 47,000 miles
STI Interior and dials
Private plate P1 DAYS included
Carbon interior additions
18" Inovite alloys gunmetal colour
HKS induction kit and air filter
WRX 5 speed short shift gear box
WRX brakes
Full toyosport exhaust
Push button start, alarm and imobiliser
Alpine CD Player
Turbo wastegate.
Rolling road tested producing around 320bhp

The issue is the rest of the car...
First things first, why does it have an STI engine in? check to see what the engine code is (should be able to get it off the block) as the engines differ between the wrx and sti (open v semi closed), then your clutch could suffer, gearbox is ok, not the strongest out there, brakes need sorting, there is a reason the sti's have big brakes and if you check what turbo you have on (should be a vf35 if the engine is a uk one) its capable of 350bhp, so a remap should do you.

thanks will find a garage nearby to remap! its been made to look like the wr1 as per the link on the thread? he has said its been dyno and getting 320 now.... will do brakes and look at clutch! thanks for ya help
