Wiring Engine Bay to Interior

Wiring Engine Bay to Interior
Hi,
I need to get some wires from the engine bay into the interior. I know there's lots of grommets in the bulkhead, but I'd like a way of doing it that doesn't involve taking the whole dashboard apart TBH :/
Best way I can see so far is out the back of the wings and in through the 'hinge panel' where the door electrics go through.
I'm guessing this is a fairly common thing for things lke gauges? So, any other ideas?

+1 just comes out behind glove box. you can reach up behind and pull it to feed it to where you want. wd40 on the wires helps them go through gaps.just dont spray the bit you want to grip!

Sounds pretty definitive eh? I had a quick look there earlier but couldn't see it, I'll have a better look later (when the pipes aren't burning my fingers). Cheers guys

Pyrotechnic, the other guys are spot on but it might be easier to advise you if we knew the exact purpose and location of the wiring. There are many applications where, for example, it's possible and far easier to tap off an existing cable already coming into the cabin.
In addition, if you do want to take cabling to the front of the engine bay, running it through the grommet in front of the door, and inside the wheelarch, is a bit more work but it keeps the engine bay tidier and also tends to keep the cables further away from sources of heat.

Power/earth for the control box is coming from the centre console, so that's not a problem.
Arch liners are already cut away a bit to stop rubbing (see: here for the explaination on that ;] ) so access under there is pretty simple really, and I can just tie-wrap it to the existing loom under there to keep it tidy.
As for keeping the engine bay tidy, the bonnet only ever gets opened to check the oil, I don't really car what it looks like, so that's not an issue either really.
